Guest Speaker:  Rajiv Tandon, Ph.D. “Mining for Golden Nuggets– Innovative practices to harness the creative potential of your people”

A Gallup report shows a staggering 63% of employees "not engaged" in their jobs and 24% as "actively disengaged"- having lost their drive by not being heeded.  A recognition is emerging that a community of engaged workers who provide constant real-time information and ideas, and for management who actively uses that information, is an underutilized source of organizational improvement.  An Aon report states that today, the interest is at “an all-time high with employee engagement.”

In this workshop we will discuss a variety of ways to respond to this enormous opportunity through many tools and methods to aid in engaging the workers into a community.  They connect workers with information and for management to respond in real-time.  This can grow to the team and beyond to improve and execute the corporate strategy.   In an increasingly competitive environment, building a strong sense of community through worker engagement is a win-win proposition.  It may be among the few sources of sustainable competitive advantage left to companies today.
